  • worked as part of a six-person team on a four-year, U.S. government-funded, Democracy Network Program aimed at strengthening the participation of citizens in democratic processes and enhancing the sustainability of Slovak nonprofit organizations through grantmaking and technical assistance;
  • helped prepare missions of U.S. experts providing technical consultation to Slovak nonprofits;
  • coordinated a 1998/1999 Survey of Corporate Philanthropy in Slovakia;
  • conducted extensive international research into corporate and individual philanthropy, which resulted in the formulation of a new philanthropy proposal.
